Data power for Liverpool's mobile vaccination clinic

Data provided by Sentinel’s technology is helping to steer Liverpool’s new Covid-19 vaccination bus towards vulnerable residents.

Delivered by the NHS in partnership with Liverpool City Council, Arriva, and local GP practices, the mobile clinic aims to improve vaccine access in areas where take-up has been lower.

Sentinel’s data platform is helping to identify vulnerable individuals who haven’t yet been vaccinated.

Evidence shows that people in more deprived parts of the city are less likely to have had the vaccine, as well as those in some local black and minority ethnic communities.

The bus is supported by an engagement team who distribute leaflets and knock on doors to encourage vulnerable people to take up the offer.

Vaccinations on the bus are provided on either a drop-in or booked appointment basis.
