Home Group has chosen Sentinel to provide a single, integrated data solution to optimise its management of customers and properties.
The solution will raise data quality and improve the use of information across all elements of the organisation.
One of the largest housing associations in the UK, Home Group owns almost 55,000 homes housing 116,000 people. It also works with over 26,000 vulnerable people through 500 supported housing, justice and health services.
Like many organisations, it needs to consolidate its customer and asset information from across a wide variety of systems and databases.
The Group recognised how it could benefit from Sentinel’s industry-leading technology which is used extensively by local authorities across England.
Its new system will provide a central store of up-to-date and accurate data that can be accessed and shared throughout the Home Group business.
“Providing a single dataset and avoiding duplication, this is a forward-thinking project that will transform the way Home Group operates,” said Sentinel director Graham McCusker.
“We’re delighted to have been selected. Our solutions are highly relevant to the housing and care sectors and we look forward to applying our expertise to make a significant impact.”
Sentinel’s comprehensive solution will incorporate all elements of customer service – ranging from rental charges and arrears to issues such as complaints and anti-social behaviour.
And, in addition to the maintenance of existing properties, the system will also support the management of building, marketing and selling properties.
“The solution really will make a huge difference and its flexibility and limitless scope means it will continue to meet Home Group’s ongoing business needs,” added Graham.
