Troubled Families solution for Devon County Council

Devon County Council has commissioned Sentinel to implement its new Troubled Families Phase 2 solution.

Using the data integration capability of Sentinel's Data Hub technology, the new system will be able to receive and merge information from more than 30 data sources available to the local authority.

Information will be consolidated into holistic views which will assess families' eligibilty to join the Troubled Families programme.

As soon as families are accepted onto the programme, the new system will record all events and outcomes from all of the council's partner agencies, to produce a full chronology for each family in support of any PBR claims.

Once their new Troubled Families system is operational the council expects to continue to increase the number of data feeds it can access in order to provide a more complete view of its families.
