Sentinel joined other fast-growing small businesses at a special reception at the Houses of Parliament.
Addressed by Chancellor of the Exchequer, Philip Hammond, the event was held for alumni of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses initiative.
The development programme, which Sentinel completed earlier this year, targets innovative businesses demonstrating the greatest potential for further growth.
Collectively, the 10KSB community already generates revenue of more than £2.8 billion and sustains more than 40,000 jobs.
“Mr Hammond spoke of the importance of SMEs in driving the UK’s economy – now and in the future,” said Sentinel director Graham McCusker, who attended the reception
“As well as highlighting their collective power, he also recognises that many will expand rapidly to become large employers and significant exporters - something the Government is clearly keen to facilitate.”
The innovation of the 10KSB community was also highlighted and Sentinel is among those companies that are currently driving changes that are designed to bring positive benefits for society.
“Our data integration technology is already leading the way in enabling local authorities and other organisations to gain a far deeper understanding of the people they serve and the assets they manage,” added Graham.
“This enables then to operate far more effectively and efficiently, targeting and delivering important services to those who need them most.
“We’re now taking things to the next level in helping our clients to interrogate their current data in order to understand how needs are changing and how their services can evolve to fulfil them.”
