Sentinel helps to shape a bright vision for public services

Sentinel is contributing to a bold and bright vision for local services by speaking at events in London and Cardiff held by Microsoft CityNext.

The Microsoft CityNext initiative aims to empower more sustainable, prosperous, and economically-competitive cities.

And the Smart Places & Connected Communities events are designed to raise awareness of inspiring, technology-based innovation and how it can meet the challenges facing local services.

Sentinel participated by presenting on its pioneering data integration and data sharing software and how it is benefiting UK local authorities.

Case studies were used to highlight the impact of Sentinel’s technology.

Delegates heard how it has helped to transform Birmingham Children’s Trust’s city-wide support for children and families.

And at the Cardiff event , Graham Arnold of Cambridgeshire County Council spoke about how it is supporting early learning services.

Sentinel director, Graham McCusker, said: “There are many ways in which technology can shape the future of public services and many examples of where it’s already happening and delivering real change.

“We share Microsoft’s bright, people-focused vision for the future and are delighted to have been invited to participate in these events which are linked to the innovative CityNext approach.”
