  • Sentinel Supports Test and Trace in Liverpool | Sentinel Partners

Sentinel Supports Test and Trace in Liverpool Book a Free Consultation Sentinel’s Data Hub has contributed to Liverpool’s success in reducing the spread of Covid-19 across the city. Previously experiencing the UK’s highest infection rate, the Government responded by imposing Tier 3 restrictions across the city and then carrying out the country’s first mass-testing programme. Test and Trace has played an important role in halting the spread of the virus and this has involved significant work by Liverpool City Council in tracing individuals that Public Health England have been unable to identify. With the council already using Sentinel’s Data Platform to identify vulnerable families across the city, it was a logical step to use the Hub technology to help find contacts who have needed to isolate due to close contact with a Covid case. This was achieved by using the Hub to bring together NHS data and information from Council Tax records to form a single dataset for the Test and Trace team to access. “Data from the two sources is fed into Liverpool’s Hub which quickly matches names to addresses and telephone numbers that have enabled the council’s tracers to make contact,” said Sentinel Partners director, Graham McCusker. “Whilst the Hub was originally installed to help identify families in need of support, it’s application has been much broader. We’re delighted that it has proved its versatility and been able to make a difference at such a critical time, and for little additional cost.” 5 Nov 2020 Contact Sentinel Partners Limited 3 Brindley Place Birmingham B1 2JB +44(0)800 612 2116 info@sentinelpartners.co.uk Schedule a Strategic Review Name Email Company What challenge are you trying to solve? • AI Ready Data | Sentinel Partners

Discover how Sentinel's intelligent processes make your data AI Ready. Achieve AI Ready Data with Sentinel's cleaning, matching, and validation. The Sentinel Advantage for AI Ready Data Sentinel helps you achieve AI-ready data through intelligent cleaning, matching, and validation processes. Book a Free Consultation What is AI Ready Data? AI-ready data is data that is accurate, curated, trusted, and usable by any analytics and artificial intelligence systems. Many organisations want to use AI but quickly discover their data is fragmented, inconsistent, poorly governed, or locked inside legacy systems. AI-ready data removes these barriers by ensuring the information feeding AI models is reliable, complete, and fit for purpose. Without AI-ready data, AI initiatives stall, produce poor results, or introduce significant risk. Why most organisations are not AI ready Despite growing investment in AI tools, many organisations struggle because their data: Exists across multiple disconnected systems Contains duplicates, errors, inconsistencies and gaps Lacks clear ownership, standards, and governance Is unstructured or poorly labelled Cannot be trusted for automated decision-making AI simply amplifies the quality of the data it is given. Poor source data leads to hallucinations, bias and inconsistent results, and ultimately to outcomes that should not be trusted. Is not properly understood How Sentinel helps you become AI ready Sentinel helps organisations prepare their data so AI can be used with confidence. We focus on the practical work needed to make data accurate, connected, and usable. We help by: Cleaning and standardising data so it can be trusted Removing duplicates and resolving inconsistencies Connecting data across systems to create a single, reliable, most trusted version of the truth Structuring, interpreting and understanding the data from scanned documents, PDFs, and free text Putting simple validation and governance in place to keep data accurate We work with your existing systems and data, avoiding unnecessary tools or complexity, and focus on building strong foundations that allow AI to deliver real value.
